From Australia's news regarding discrimination of Deaf passengers

The disability watchdog says that an airline's over-zealous interpretation of safety regulations regardin Deaf passengers has led to greater discrimination against people with disabilities. "There have been endemic problems in airlines over the past few years where people with disabilities have been refused carriage because of their disability," Federal disability discrimination commissioner has revealed that the problem isn't limited to on company but rather, many companies are doing the same thing.

That's terrible! Everybody is unique and "differently-abled". Hope they show more consideration for others who are different.

I prefer the train. Amtrak has made themselves friendly to people with disabilities. And the scenery is worth the long drunken ride!
