Yesterday, I posted about an airline wanted deaf people to have a carer when flying. Deaf people are not disabled, they just can't hear but they are able to do everything as much as hearing people can do. In fact, we use our eyes more than hearing people so we are able to see things more than hearing people. We are able to pick up little things that hearing people often misses. Read the article written by Associated Press reported that "Beethoven would not be allowed to fly alone if he were alive today." After four deaf passengers were alloweed on board, a flight attendant gave them a note written by the cabin manager saying: "In future, so you know, you'll need to travel with a carer for safety reasons."
Ignorance of some people hearing people is still a problem around the world.

How can some people can be so ignorant?
The human capacity for stupidity never ceases to amaze me.
That's just crazy. It's not like someone who is deaf, traveling on a plane, would need to be escorted just like a child who is only 6 years old, or whatever the 'can't travel unaccompanied' age is.
I travelled in early March to Washington DC and there were several deaf people aboard. The safety instructions were both spoken and signed.
I am sorry all airlines don't do this.
