Deaf artist tells stories to the hearing

“My name is Stefrose,” the artist lettered along two white walls in the entryway to the exhibit. “I can’t hear you even if you shout. That is where we are going to have a communication problem. So deal with it! If you don’t speak to my face, then I haven’t heard you. Have I mentioned I’m deaf?”
