Deaf School and Dog

A public high school has turned away a deaf student's hearing dog despite a state ruling saying the animal should be allowed. UPI News

Crisis continues to grow especially when ADA is under consideration in Congress. While it is true that individuals with disabilities should not have to prove that they are disabled enough to qualify for coverage under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). My main concern is that who will abuse ADA. Many opponents of ADA are saying that it is time for an update in the American’s with Disabilities Act that would clear up what they are calling confusing language in the current law.

Looking back at history, I am seeing another
“if we start to abuse our privileges, then we lose them.”
