University Schools pull plug on deaf program

Greeley-Evans Local School District 6 in northern Colorado, citing disappointing test scores and a non-aligning curriculum, the district had sought more oversight over the program, which serves 31 students.

We are seeing more of this, I wonder what they would do with funding from the Federal Government's Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (if they have any from the state government which pass-thru to all local government schools).

I wonder what mode of communication the schools use with their Deaf students. ASL? Oral? SEE?
