Update on an Assaulted Cyclist

Remember the post I made saturday about a local ballet dancer who got hurt in an assault? Well, this morning, when I opened up the Columbus Dispatch Newspaper, looking at the bottom of the front page, there's an article about cyclists problems on the road. David was in this article as well explaining his situation last saturday when he got assaulted.

You can read it here: Columbus Dispatch: Injury accents bike-car tensions

Seattle pays great respect to cyclists here, they have their own lanes and you can ride across the city on special, scenic path. I was hit on my bike at age ten and that caused my MS---MRI confirms.

I went with an old boyfriend to his hometown of Ft. Collins, CO. I was amazed, there were bike lanes everywhere.

There are a lot of cyclists in my area and the tension between them and motorists is palpable at times.

What the 4 men did to David was terrible! Cyclists are at a disadvantage on the road because they are the least protected.

In Singapore, some places have lanes for cyclist and they can ride safely, but not all places.
