Life

Well, my son had a wedding yesterday even though he is already married. He and his wife had a simple wedding at a mayor's office last year. They wanted to have a church ceremony and we had a good day yesterday. We had a nice reception last night.

I sat at a table next to my ex-in-laws and my ex. Only one of them do not like me because I left her daughter even though she could not undestand why. My ex-wife lost her focus of being a wife and being there for her family because those who fail will be the ones who lose their way and focus. She could not see the bigger picture because she have became so caught up with the allure of material things. Is it obvious that these type of families who will fail? We had a relationship like a boat with two people rowing in opposite directions goes nowhere. When people are living in a selfish lifestyle, families will fail.

Now, I am with my family with a wonderful wife and her girls. This got me thinking and I will share this later.

Jim

I'm soory to hear about your first wife but at least you were wise enough to move on (if you don't mind my saying so) and find something that does work.

Congratulations on your son's wedding! Weddings are nice!

And congratulations on finding Mrs. Right. Someone once said that marriage is not about finding the right person but BEING the right person for each other.

Looking forward to hearing more of your thoughts on this!

Glad u have a good wife and enjoyed your son's wedding..
I had seen my ex-husband and ex-laws at my son's wedding in 2002. My ex-father in law had been very nice to me and was happy to see me again. He's a really good guy. He nudges his wife's ribs making sure she was nice. I'm very happy with my new wonderful husband.
