Wheelchair dipping situation Updates

Florida Attorney General's office is looking into whether the civil rights of a paralyzed man dumped onto a jailhouse floor were violated.

State and federal prosecutors are being called to act after the dumping of a quadriplegic man from a wheelchair by a Hillsborough County jail deputy.

civil rights violated...uhhh yeah i think so. the thing that got me was the others there who did not do a thing...and one even laughed. it is an image one doesn't easily forget.

I saw the video of the boy/man being tipped out of his wheelchair and I was horrified!

I don't care what he did against the law, he didn't deserve to be dumped out on the floor. Yes, one laughed too.

They should both be fired and the w/c should push a lawsuit. Unbelievable what is going on in the world today!

I don't care if a person is behaving like a complete ass. The police are still supposed to treat them decently. I know it must be hard for them sometimes, but there is no excuse for behavior like that.
