Riding the Bus to work everyday
My main source of transportation is public transit (city bus) to work. Everyday, I wake up (I try) and catch my express bus to work which takes about 15 minutes. I try to time myself so I won't end up standing at the bus stop for a long time. In most times, I am on target but other times, I have missed and had to wait for the next bus.
In the bus, I can either talk with other riders that I know, or read my morning paper, or read my Bible, or anything else I might be reading. If I read steaming romance book, I hide in the back so they won't see what I am reading. LOL Yes, I am a guy who likes to read romance books. My wife likes it when I read those books because she ummm.... reaps the benefits from my reading *wink*.
Anyway, back to the bus riding. I actually don't mind taking the bus. I prefer riding the express bus since it only takes 15 mins. If I take a local bus, it takes 45 mins because this bus goes through Ohio State University campus and Ohio Stadium before reaching downtown Columbus. That bus is usually fully with OSU students.

When I worked downtown in the 80s, I used to take the bus. It was better than fighting traffic and finding parking, however, if you missed it, sometimes it was a cold or wet wait.
