News: Deaf Church in Toledo, Ohio

Good Shepherd of the Deaf Lutheran Church is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the installation of its pastor, the Rev. Shirrel Petzoldt.

The Rev. Terry Cripe, president of the Ohio District of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, will be the guest speaker at tomorrow's 10:15 a.m. service at Good Shepherd of the Deaf, 5859 Elmer Drive, Toledo.

The service will be followed by a meal for the congregation and invited friends.

In addition to being pastor in Toledo, Mr. Petzoldt preaches in Clyde, Findlay, and Stryker, Ohio, and helps with Bible studies in other northwest Ohio communities. His ministry is supported by the Lutheran Intersynodical Deaf Ministry Committee, which consists of representatives of the Northwest Ohio Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and the Ohio District of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
