Government: Legalism & Liberalism

There is a fine balance between legalism and liberalism. Both are wrong. What's right is in the Word of God.
Everything is allowable but not everything is allowable.
I love everything that God has created but hated what Satan has corrupted

In this world, I have learned that by doing of the will of God leaves me no time for disputing about His providence plans and why things are happening around us. I also have learned that democracy does not give me any real power at all because in God's providence, He allowed democracy to basically swamps each of us Christians among non-believers. Christians knows that not everyone is willing to be a Christian. In the United States, we are in a "democratic country" which means the Government will follow what people want. United States government is NOT a "Theocracy Government".

How many countries today have "Theocracy" type of Government?

Theocracy is a form of government in which a religion and the government are allied. America was created with the influence of Christian people as well as non-christians. I think both Republicans and Democrats voters have Christian attributes if each removed non-Christian attributes. By removing the non-Christian attributes, you will see the actual listing of Christian attributes. We all are simple creatures who are looking for answers.

According to Scriptures government is ordained of God. Government, as such, is ordained of God. It has been corrupted, obviously, but the institution is still ordained of God. Government represents God’s rule in the world. It is God’s way of ordering society. Even the worst of governments around the world, still part of God's ordained government, simply to secure the good and punish the evil.(Rom. 13:1–7) It is an easy topic but NOT easy to accept the fact. Therefore, God allowed fallible man to run for government such as Hitler, Stalin, Rwanda and others. God is the one who began the process of government. We are called to render service and obedience as to submit to civil authority (1 Pet. 2:13–17 ; Matt. 22:21). Even though the Government is God-ordained but human (sinners) are leading governments are also guilty of injustice however Christians should not stop working for justice or cease to be concerned about human rights.

If you don't like the laws, get involved and change it without total rebellious. Just simply say "I disagree" MLK and Rosa Parks did.

Corrie Ten Boom disagreed with Hitler and hid the jews.

Dietrich Bonhoeffer disagreed and got hanged.

Daniel's friends of the Old Testament disagreed and got thrown into the furnace (Daniel 3:6 "Whoever does not fall down and worship will immediately be thrown into a blazing furnace."). Later Daniel and his friends earned respects from others in Daniel 6:4 "At this, the administrators and the satraps tried to find grounds for charges against Daniel in his conduct of government affairs, but they were unable to do so. They could find no corruption in him, because he was trustworthy and neither corrupt nor negligent."

Rather than forcing moral standards, we are to set examples and allow God to change people's lives. The BEST Evangelist is the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ and as we set examples, the Holy Spirit will work in a person's heart to be convicted. 1 Thessalonians 1:5 "because our gospel came to you not simply with words, but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and with deep conviction. You know how we lived among you for your sake."

Today, I believe that Christians who are in the far right or far left are having trouble accepting of what God can do when they are trying to attempt to be like God. When America was created, church and state supported each other, neither one was allowed to interfere in the affairs of the other.

I will end this post with this quote I like:
One of the hardest lessons to learn comes from our stubborn refusal to refrain from interfering in other people’s lives. It takes a long time to realize the danger of being an amateur providence, that is, interfering with God’s plan for others. Oswald Chambers
