Sunday Deep Thoughts

It would be nice not to have any regrets. If I had no regrets, I would never grow. Pride is at the bottom of all great mistakes. Self-centered desires affects our minds through deception and that we begin to justify and rationalize our right to possess what we desire. A Christian tries to act like a mature believer HOWEVER this Christian is really a child at heart because his/her life revolves around "what is good for me." Our hearts are like a garden and must be kept free from weeds and insects. This is not about faith in relation to "getting what you want" but faith in WHO and at HIS will. Our self-interest motives conduct even though it is part of our fallen nature, the cross is a symbol of the selfless, others-centered life of Christ.
