Lemonade Award

I received this

award from whimsical brainpan.

Thank you !!

I will be giving this award out sometime in the next few days.

I am WAY behind.... Back in May, I was giving an award from

Angela

In the spirit of gratitude and being thankful....and kindness, of course, I created this award. I truly love giving out kindness awards more than anything else because people who are truly kindhearted never expect a return on their actions.

The definition:
n.1.
1. The quality or state of being kind. 2. An instance of kind behavior: I will always remember your many kindnesses to me.
“Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you'll find one at the end of your arm... As you grow older you will discover that you have two hands. One for helping yourself, the other for helping others.” Audrey Hepburn

In remembering those who show kindness daily I have to recognize the following people:

Of course I am giving this to Angela. I enjoy reading her blogs.

More than Conquerors for her words and encouragements.

And finally Merelyme for her wonderful blog.

Thank you for your kindness and words when you post your comments.

Another award (The "Free Thinker" Blog Award)

from....Diane who blogs on A Stellarlife

Here's my response to Diane.....
Wow... I am taking a break from blogging due to what's going on in my life, like buying a house, my daughter's graduation from high school, vocational school and of course a graduate of Buckeye Ranch which is a a place that help teenagers with problems. My daugther made it after after hitting bottom.

Last week, Krista graduated from high school as Valedictorian and she gave her speech about her life's struggle and how she became what she is today. I am proud of her.

My other daughter is busy dancing this weekend at the Columbus Dance Theatre.

My schedule is very tight this summer now that I am on various committees and projects. Along with my normal duties as Grants Administrator, I have a new duty that has been added to my daily work activities. This duty is basically called Cognos Report Authoring (creating reports for the agency as well as for the State of Ohio). COGNOS provides a reporting tool for OAKS (State of Ohio's Accounting System) information that use SQL-based programming which are similar to other SQL-based applications (Access, SQL Server, Oracle). They send me to school to learn more about computer based reporting technology and will be going back to school to study advance Cognos/SQL applications this summer.

At my work, I am teaching Cognos classes coming up this month (3 classes) and not sure how many next month.

On top of the above, my wife and I are in the process of closing a deal on the house. The closing date is June 30, 2008.

I will be busy between now and then.

Like Arnold said, "I will be back"...... I will be back.

:)

Grace (undeserve kindness)

I'm going to have to slow down on the blogging for a while as I try to focus on issues at hand. Nothing serious. I will be back whenever I can.

Before the end of May, I will be passing out Kindness awards that I received from Angela.

Angela's Blog

From the Bible, I am reminded in Colossians 3:12-13 Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

Looking at kindness from one perspective, 2 Peter 1:7 "make every effort to add to your faith......brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love."

I love this quote: The Christian faith is meant to be lived moment by moment. It isn't some broad, general outline--it's a long walk with a real Person. Details count: passing thoughts, small sacrifices, a few encouraging words, little acts of kindness, brief victories over nagging sins. Joni Eareckson Tada

Blogs Rated for EXCELLENT

Well, it took me awhile to name award winners and I have came up with 4 bloggers that I want give an award to and they are:

Marja who is interested in blogging about mental health issues and her relationship with God. She recently lost her mother-in-law and she was sharing her grief. We have something in common regarding our Christian faith.

Mike who is very blut when he blogs about deaf issues. He just provoke my thoughts every time I read his blog.

Merelyme who have a different topic frequently and likes to connect with other bloggers. I enjoy reading her posts daily.

Abbie who is blogging about her Cochlear Implant (CI) experiences and her life. I enjoy her sense of humor and her views of life as she sees it.

Another Award......

I am humbled and honored to receive this award from Mother of Shrek (Casdok) If you have not visited her blog, I recommend that you go there and enjoy her blog. She is a single mother of a 19 year old non verbal autistic young man from United Kingdom. I found her blog so unique and interesting. Her thoughts are ideas are always so interesting. I have found wonderful bloggers through her blog.

One thing I have learned ever since I started blogging, I enjoy the "community" feeling that I have been missing over the years. With a busy lifestyle like working, family and other commitments, I don't have time for social activities. This is my limited social activity. :)

Anyway, she awarded 7 people for this award so I will be thinking of who will be getting this award over the weekend. I have some ideas.
