Paul wrote in Romans 16:18 "For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people."
We all need to get to know two basic things about a preacher-
How a preacher earns his/her money
How a preacher spends his/her money
You have the clue to a preacher's character, for you have a search light that shows up the inmost recesses of a preacher's soul. You know all you need to know about a preacher's standards, motives, driving desires, and "real religion". A religion causes people to use pride in their lives by leading them to think, “Look what I’ve accomplished.” Jesus rebuked to a group religious leaders in Matthew 23:25 ".........You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence."

I know where the tv preaacher stands when he is asking for money 5min into sermon. Very sad.
